The neuro interventional radiology fellowship involves extensive training, under the supervision of three full-time faculty, in diagnostic (1,000 cases per year) and interventional (600 cases per year) neuroradiology as well as intensive care unit medicine. The goal of the Neurointerventional Radiology Division of UMass Memorial Health Center is to provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art, minimally invasive care to patients with vascular diseases of the brain and spine including stroke, aneurysm, arteriovenous malformations, vascular stenosis, and spinal abnormalities.
